Federal Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act & the Federal American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) Fund
GESD would like to thank the community for their input on the use of the Federal Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act funds & the Federal American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) Fund. These funds are intended to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on the educational experiences of our students and as such will be utilized to ensure the best possible learning experience for all students. These funds will be used for:
K-8 Summer Academic & Enrichment programming
Expanded High School Credit Recovery Program and Community Building Events
HVAC improvements to improve ventilation and air quality in all school buildings
Summer counseling services for students in need
Social Emotional Learning resources for staff and students
Curriculum writing and planning to address student learning loss due to COVID-19
Intramural sports programs and activities for all students
Creation of a Gloversville High School Health & Wellness Center
Enhanced cleaning and sanitation equipment
Grant funded addition of academic support staff for all students
Grant funded addition of Student Support Services staff to meet the increasing needs of students with disabilities
Tutors for the GESD-City of Gloversville Partnership Community Outreach Program
