Reminder for the GMS Teen Town tonight!
Miss Lair's Career Exploration class welcomed shipping meteorologist, and Gloversville graduate, Jimmy Bielli for a fun activity on weather and routing. Scholars took turns being the captain of their own ship and had to navigate routes across the Atlantic Ocean without losing their cargo (m&m's)! The "ship captains" had to navigate around hurricanes in order to safely reach their destination. Mr. Bielli then provided feedback on whether the scholar's chosen route would have been the route recommended by a shipping meteorologist in regards to efficiency and safety. All scholars reached their destinations safely and enjoyed eating their "cargo" once they reached port!
GMS Drama Club getting their last few weeks of rehearsals before the big show on October 27 and 28! Please come out and support the drama club with "We Are Monsters"!

Ms. Mowrey's 7th grade science scholars enjoyed a lab where they learned the importance of following directions by writing the steps involved in making a peanut butter, jelly, and fluff sandwich. Ms. Mowrey followed their directions very precisely.
