[GESD] Due to the water main break last night in the city, GHS, GMS and McNab schools will be on a boil water advisory today out of an abundance of caution. We will conduct all cooking with bottled water and will have bottled water available for the day rather than our water fountains/filling stations.

Our middle school scholars had a fantastic time at the PBIS-sponsored event, building community and creating unforgettable memories. They enjoyed a variety of games, from Hungry Hippo to tug-of-war, plunger relay, and musical chairs, filling the event with high energy and laughter. A big thank you to the PBIS Committee for organizing this wonderful event and to our Yearbook Club Paparazzi for capturing all the fun moments! #PBIS

Boulevard's Writing and Illustration Club kicked off by having two guests from the Fulton County Regional SPCA. Bobbi Jo Haverly and her dog Maggie came to share with the scholars about what the FCRSPCA does, some opportunities for scholars to volunteer/intern, the fostering and adoption process, and the importance of campaigns and visibility of the organization in Gloversville. The scholars in the Writing and Illustration Club will be writing stories inspired by a local pet that needs adopting. The stories and characters will be completely made up by the students and will culminate with a district wide fundraiser for FCRSPCA, a live reading at the Public Library, and collaboration with the High School Advanced Sculpture class. Erin Charitie Sacdalan and Alyssa Cosselman were nominated by their school counselors to attend the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences' Future of Healthcare Workshop on February 7th, where they participated in academic sessions with faculty from programs including pharmacy, microbiology and clinical laboratory sciences. The students started the day with a case study involving the infectious disease malaria and then dispersed across campus into groups led by ACPHS faculty to address the problem from the perspectives of four different disciplines – biomedical sciences, clinical and health sciences, social and behavioral sciences, and pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences.

🐍 Exciting Science Day at Park Terrace! 🐍 This Monday, our very own high school science teacher, Ms. Hazzard, gave our second graders a thrilling lesson on the life cycle of a snake. The star of the show? Her pet ball python, who made a special guest appearance! The kids were absolutely fascinated.
